Polaris Networks' Core Network Solutions are carrier-class software solutions for deployment in networks of mobile network operators and wireless Internet service providers. With a standards-based implementation, this software is interoperable with equipment from other vendors that follow 3GPP standards. With charging functions to be integrated with commercial billing solutions, the NetEPC and Unicorn can help service providers implement a full-fledged LTE and 5G network respectively.

As software solutions, both NetEPC and Unicorn are hardware-agnostic and can be used on bare-metal COTS servers or as Virtual Network Functions in a cloud or datacenter set up. Extremely scalable, this allows mobile network operators to build networks for a smaller number of subscribers and, later, expand the capacity of the 4G/5G core network easily as subscriber numbers grow.
