A Modular, Scalable, and Carrier-class 5G Core Network  

The Unicorn is a lightweight combined 4G & 5G Core network software suitable for commercial public networks, private enterprise networks and emergency/critical infrastructure networks. This software only solution can be fully deployed on customer data centers/premises together with any 3GPP standard compliant 4G and/or 5G Radio from any vendor.

It includes all Core Network Functions, including Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), Mobility Management Entity (MME), Authentication Server/Function (AUSF), Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF), Unified Data Management (UDM), Unified Data Repository (UDR), Session Management Function (SMF), Policy Control Function (PCF), Network Repository Function (NRF) and User Plane Function (UPF) – along with an integrated Element Management System (NMS) and a web-based Console to manage and operate the 4G/5G core network functions.

The Unicorn provides a 3GPP standard compliant, secure and reliable core network functions which provides deployment flexibility and supports advanced capability such as network slicing, 4G/5G interworking and advanced QoS-Priority-and-Pre-emption (QPP) capabilities.
